Yeilds 12 servings
Mix ingredients. Pour over ice cubes and serve. Arrange slice of orange/lemon/lime on rim of tall frosted glass.
In punch bowl, gently stir together thawed concentrate and mint julep. Garnish with orange slices. Serve immediately in ice filled glasses.
Add apple juice or apple cider to half fill a 12 ounce glass. Add 1 tablespoon of lime juice. Add 2 or 3 ice cubes and mix well. Fill glass with mint julep.
Mix all ingredients together in punch bowl. Make mold of same ingredients and freeze to float in punch Bowl.
Mint julep ice cubes can be used in your favorite drinks, iced coffee, iced tea or any recipe requiring ice cubes. For decorative cubes, place a cherry or a mint leaf in each section of ice cube tray before freezing mint julep.
Yeilds 6 servings
Chill peaches in can. Spoon about 3 tablespoons syrup into each 6 or 8 ounce glass. Place peaches in each glass and fill with mint julep (about 1/2 cup). Serve with a spoon.
Put one serving of vanilla or peach ice cream in large champagne glass. Top with peach half. Pour mint julep over ingredients—enough to fill glass. Top with maraschino cherry.
Pour milk into a 12 oz. glass, pour in a little mint julep. Mash ice cream and stir briskly. Add 1 scoop ice cream—fill glass with mint julep.
Pour and mix punch and mint julep in a punch bowl. Pour over ice mold or add crushed ice. Add fresh berries. Serve well chilled.
A ready to eat ham needs only to be glazed and heated through. Baked ham may be glazed with brown sugar and studded with cloves. Try basting the ham while it is baking with mint julep.
Possibilities for other ways to bast are limited only by one's imagination. Use mint julep to baste your holiday hams. Use mint julep on kielbasa at the holidays. Bake it in a slow oven and keep basting it with the mint julep and drippings, about one to one and a half hours till well done.
Heat mint julep to simmering. Add cinnamon candies. Remove from heat but keep warm. Stir frequently until candies are completely dissolved. Pour over Slices of warm apple pie. Serve at once.
